I ALREADY HAVE A PRINT SUBSCRIPTION TO THE CITIZEN. DO I GET ACCESS TO THE CITIZEN PREMIUM?
Premium content on citizen.co.za is not necessarily the same as the content in the printed version of the newspaper, so in addition to your print subscription, you have to subscribe to The Citizen Premium on citizen.co.za if you would like access to Premium articles and other premium content on the website.

Yes, you can subscribe to our Premium digital content anywhere in the world.
IS THERE A PENSIONER DISCOUNT?
We have a special offer for first-time digital subscribers but we don’t have a pensioner’s discount.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY SUBSCRIPTION PACKAGE TO ANOTHER ONE?
If you are already a subscriber to the print version of The Citizen or Saturday Citizen and wish to add the Premium digital subscription to your current subscription, or if you wish to change from a print subscriber to a Premium digital subscriber, contact us on 010 492 5409/5416/5426 or firstname.lastname@example.org and we will assist you to change your subscription option or add a subscription option.
WHY DO YOU ASK FOR MY E-MAIL ADDRESS?
Your e-mail address is our unique identifier for your subscription. It makes it easy for us to locate your current subscription package.
WHY CAN’T I PAY FOR A SINGLE ARTICLE OR A SINGLE EDITION?
The Citizen website is updated continuously with online content, which means there is no single digital “edition” at any given time. We do not offer single article payments (micropayments).

WHEN DOES MY SUBSCRIPTION EXPIRE?
Your subscription end date will appear on your confirmation of subscription as well as on your renewal notification.
HOW DO I RENEW MY SUBSCRIPTION?
You will receive a renewal notification with renewal prices before your subscription ends.
I WANT TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
You have the option to cancel at any time by notifying us in writing. You have to give 30 days’ notice that you would like to cancel your subscription. Also, please refer to our terms and conditions, paragraph 4 “Purchases of magazine or other publication subscriptions”. DO I GET A REFUND IF I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY SUBSCRIPTION?
Since we follow a prepaid subscription model, the money you have paid for the subscription period (or part thereof), will not be refunded but you will still enjoy your subscription until the end of the month for which you have tendered your cancellation. Cancellation will only take effect at the end of your notice month prior to your next payment date.
